Simplicity is key
I first discovered the brand when I was at work, writing about all kinds of shoes. With so many brands coming in every day, it’s hard to keep up. However Blackstone immediately caught my eye. There’s something so attractive about that fine leather they use and the simplicity of the designs!
How they started
Okay, let me give you some background info: Blackstone was established in 1992 (my birth year!) and belongs to a third generation family company. It started as a worker brand, yet evolved into a design driven brand with a clear signature. Besides that, they’re Dutch, just like me. Ha!
