AFRICA FASHION WEEK AMSTERDAM (AFWA)
AFWA is an annual event that focuses on exhibiting the beauty of African couture, art and fashion to a European and global audience. I have never attended AFWA before, but somehow it really made me feel like I was in Africa. No joke! The vibes, the music, the people: it was all there.
MENSWEAR: INSPIRATIONAL
Since I was only able to visit one day of all four, I chose to go to the men’s shows since mostly the designers are very inspirational. My favorite was Oheneba Yaw Boamaha, designer of label Abrantie the Gentleman. Curious? Watch the new Celmatique Backstage video below!
